Can Avondale help me design my restaurant or commercial kitchen?

As a full-service supplier our team is qualified in the design of all kitchens. Equipment is only one part of the equation, how it works, placement, ventilation, etc. are all considerations that need professional and experienced input. A thorough, detailed plan before construction will save costs and make life easier for the entire construction team.

What is your test and demo kitchen for?

Our demo kitchen is used for monthly cooking demonstrations of various types of hospitality kitchen equipment including combi ovens. It is also open to our customers who would like to test products, try new equipment, hold cooking classes, teach food photography or anything they might need it for. We also like to encourage that it is the perfect place to host off-site meetings. It is available for rent on any hourly basis, or for use at no charge for equipment demos from our suppliers.

Does Avondale do kitchen and restaurant equipment appraisals?

We offer a full appraisal service for any needs related to insurance quotes or business sales. Appraisals encompass equipment and restaurant assets including tableware.

Do you do quotes? Do you charge for quotes?

What is your area of operation?

Our area is Southern Ontario; however, we travel and work with clients as far west as Sarnia and as far east as Ottawa. If you are outside of that area contact us and I'm sure we can accommodate your needs. In fact, Montreal has been on our delivery schedule a couple of times as well!

Returns and refunds

Returns are subject to a restocking fee and are not accepted without an RMA provided by Avondale. Products must be in original packaging and not used.  For any defective product, please contact Avondale for information on how we can help get this corrected for you through proper warranty channels.

Do you charge for delivery?

Delivery charges are applicable and are subject to the distance traveled by our drivers and movers.  We will provide a quote for you for your reference when quoting equipment and are upfront with all costs prior to starting a project.

What type of payment terms do you offer?

We accept all forms of payment. Our general terms are 40% upon order approval and 60% on delivery.  Financing options, via our partner Econolease, are available as well and we can arrange to extend from less than 1 year to up to 5 years for equipment related expenses. Financing options are also available for renovations and new commercial kitchen design services.

Do you purchase used restaurant equipment?

At this point we are no longer buying used commercial kitchen equipment. Should you be interested in buying used and refurbished equipment we have limited items in stock. You will find them on our Used Equipment tab here.

Do you charge for site visits?

This is a per case basis due to the location of your facility and what work you require. We typically do not charge for the initial site visit. Site visits allow for an in-person opportunity to obtain all the necessary information so we can then offer our clients expert solutions for the project parameters as well as a comprehensive estimate of the work required.
